The Teenagers - Double Page Spread Analysis

So what have I learnt from this analysis of a double page spread?

After looking at this double page spread and analyzing the intricate details of all the graphics, colors and images I have learnt a lot. For example, it is immediately apparent when analyzing music magazines like this one that contrasting bright bold colors such blue with bold black writing creates a great result that is essential for attracting and maintaining the audiences attention. I’ve also learnt that articles use small pull quotes and small images of the artists to ‘break up’ the article so it doesn’t look as daunting. These pull quotes and images should wherever possible follow the same colour scheme as the rest of the page. On top of this, extra boxes full of unique and interesting information are usually scattered across the page and are essential for attracting the eye of the audience. When I am creating my own double page spread I will take this into account so that it will look and feel as professional as a double page spread such as this one.
